Joshua 1:6-9

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord will be with you wherever you go.

Your Role as County Leaders:

You are the go-to person for your church leaders.  If they have a question about what they can or can’t do, you are the one they will communicate with.

We encourage you to check in with your church leaders periodically to see how their efforts are going, to see if they need anything, to pray together, or share testimonies.  It’s totally up to you!

If you have a county with many churches and groups who want to help spread the word, they are encouraged to contact their church leader for more information, flyers to hand out, etc.

After that, your church leaders can contact you if they feel like they need something they don’t have in order to draw people in.

You are encouraged to divide the time between your churches leading worship, or they can choose to worship together.

If one of your counties does not have two churches that can participate, lead worship, and spread the word, touch base with Kathy as there are others who can help fill the role.

The church leaders in your county will contact you directly and will not be on GroupMe. You can set up your own means of communication with them if you desire, they’re your counties! But email, text or phone should suffice for them to get in touch with you.

The churches that are not church leaders but still want to get involved in some way, either by volunteering or getting the word out, can contact their church leaders for more information.

When Heading Out to the Churches:
  • Ask the Lord to highlight the churches He wants you to visit.
  • Allow the Lord to lead you as you go out.
  • When talking to the churches, try and keep conversations about gathering to pray and worship Jesus, not doctrine or dogma.
  • If someone the Lord has led you to says, I can’t, see if they would want to lead and help next year.
  • When a church says yes and agrees to lead in their county, leave with them:
    • The tent flyer
    • Your business card
    • the Worship Team Guidelines sheet
    • the Church Leader Information sheet
    • Also please point out the website. Let them know they can:
      • Learn their full role as Church Leader
      • Get suggestions on how to get the word out
      • Print out more copies of the flyer
      • Print out the worship team guidelines
      • View each county’s timeslot and the names of the other leaders in their county
  • If you get a county affected by the wildfires, pray and see what the Lord wants you to do.
Remember, God has already gone before you, made a way, and prepared the hearts of those He's chosen to lead.

He has already said that every county will be there, and we know the Lord will make it happen!  That’s His heart for the panhandle, Texas and the nation, that we would lay aside our differences, come together in unity and worship Him.

John 15: 25-27

but this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: They hated Me without reason. When the Counselor (Holy Spirit) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out for the Father, He will testify about Me. And you also must testify for you have been with Me from the beginning.
