This sparked the beginning of a unique opportunity to proclaim Jesus before all people, nationwide. On the weekend of October 6th-9th, close to fifty thousand people and sixteen hundred worship teams from all fifty states offered up 2,850 combined hours of worship and prayer in 58 tents around the clock for three days on our National Mall!
Throughout that weekend, nearly 4 million people across the globe participated and heard the gospel live on Facebook! There was a shift in our nation’s capital, prayer movements were birthed, prayers were answered, people were healed, hundreds were saved – and thousands of lives were impacted and forever changed.
The records of revival history attest to the truth of this Biblical principle:
Nearly every great move of God can be traced back to a people that made the power of prayer and worship central in their lives.
This principle of centrality of God’s Presence has withstood the test of time and is still seen to be true in our day. Even right now, as you read this, ceaseless songs and prayers are rising before His throne in heaven. God is enthroned on the praise of His people!
From Living Rooms to Tents to Stadiums: It’s Time!
Snippets from a letter written by David Bradshaw in 2020:
We wanted to start in massive gatherings and stadiums. God wanted to start in our hearts and in our living rooms. There is no question that stadium Christianity is part of God’s blueprint for the nations and the salvation of over a billion souls.
Spiritually speaking, we should never return to business as usual. What the enemy meant to abort the movement contending for a billion-soul harvest, God is using to birth it.
My wife was awakened out of a dream by the Holy Spirit a number of months ago with a loud knock in the middle of the night, though there was no one at our door. We understood that the knock represented the knock of Jesus in Revelation 3. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens to Me, I will come in to him and I will dine with him and he with Me.” Jesus wants to come into our hearts and living rooms before He comes to our stadiums.
Living Room Revival was an online, day and night platform for worship, prayer and community that operated from our homes and small gatherings from May 18-28.
I believe that we are experiencing a crescendo of worship, prayer, and returning to the Lord with our whole hearts that is moving us all into a Great Awakening. Living Room Revival was an invitation to “open the door” in our hearts and homes and it ended on the biblical feast of Pentecost.

As you all know with the death of George Floyd, there is another profound challenge facing us all. So good news: Tent America 2020 is on! We believe that now is the time to flood our streets, cities, and campuses with worship, prayer and the gospel!
I believe that the church should be on the front lines in this challenge to bring peace, healing and justice to our nation. This is our time. Tent America is a 100-day procession of worship and prayer as one voice across the nation from June 20 through September 28! The timing of all this is providential. My friend Jonathan Tremaine Thomas recently called me from Ferguson, MO where he is working in our cities in the midst of all the protests.
He appealed to us to not shrink back, but to be present like never before in our cities. Jesus changes everything. We are modifying the plan for tent America 2020 to allow for flexibility in light of covid 19. We encourage outdoor/tent events whenever possible but we also invite indoor gatherings or virtual worship and prayer events in your region! Let’s flood America with worship, prayer and gospel proclamation during your region’s 10 days.
Awaken the Dawn joined Gen Z for Jesus for a life-changing gathering in Los Angeles where thousands of young people encountered the Lord and were called to live their lives fully abandoned to Him. ATD carried the first days leading up to the event with day and night worship and prayer where 1,200 youth carried the torch for their generation.
